A one-year grant from the iMat institute is available at Sorbonne Université for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to work on 2D topological (chiral) superconductivity in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field (e.g. coming from an Abrikosov lattice of vortices). The system is described either in the language of Majorana fermions or in the Bogoliubov-de Gennes description. It is aimed at describing the low-energy behavior of the Kitaev model on the honeycomb lattice in the presence of a vortex pattern. See our previous work on the subject [

The researcher will join LPTMC Paris (Jussieu), in the group composed of Anna Ritz (PhD student) Julien Vidal (CNRS) and Jean-Noël Fuchs (CNRS). The contract may be extended beyond one year.
