A postdoc position (2 years) has opened in the group of Ludovic Jaubert in Bordeaux to work on the theory of frustrated magnetism in collaboration with the group of Lode Pollet in LMU Munich. The project is expected to be both numerical and analytical, but it can be adapted depending on the selected candidate.
The candidate is expected to have a PhD in physics and a solid background in statistical physics, math, programming and English. A strong experience in condensed matter and numerical simulations will be an asset, but excellent and motivated candidates coming from a different field are welcome to apply.
