The ERC project is focused on understanding non-equilibrium phases of quantum matter with the aid of hydrodynamics and tensor network techniques. It fits into a large network of international collaborations centred around the field of non-equilibrium dynamics, chaotic vs. integrable dynamics, quantum entanglement and tensor networks and transport in strongly correlated systems.
Candidates for the Postdoc position should hold a PhD in theoretical physics, preferably focused on statistical physics and/or condensed matter research. They should have a solid background in analytical and/or numerical techniques for strongly correlated systems and the ability of working in a large research group.
